If you are curious about what Mormons believe and how church doctrine applies to situations in the world today, this weekend's General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be an excellent resource for you. The church holds this conference twice a year. It is a two-day stretch of talks given by the general authorities, apostles, and the President and Prophet of the church that is broadcast all over the world.
You can listen to or watch the speakers on the church's website starting Saturday. Tune in from noon to 2pm and 4-6pm (Eastern) Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5, 2009 to hear guidance and sound advice from men of God for the times in which we live.
